My Background
Hi! I'm Beki.
I spell my name funny but when you change it in 7th grade and your grandparents finally start spelling it correctly, you don't dare do that to them again.
Photography as Communication
I may not be your typical photographer. I didn't grow up with a camera in my hand preserving every memory carefully. I had to learn the hard way just how precious those memories are but I have ALWAYS loved photos.
I've always liked flipping through our family albums and seeing the photos my friends took of our shared events. There is something special about sharing moments from your mom or dad's lives... moments that happened BEFORE you were ever a thought.
Sharing Stories
Today, I enjoy newborn photography, portraits, pets, and photographing special events any chance I get! I'd be delighted to be challenged with new topics so don't worry if your ideas don't currently fit with any of my samples.
